What can I do about rapid hair loss and dandruff?
Written by reader on November 17th, 2008I used to have shiny, healthy hair. During puberty I got severe dandruff which just wouldn’t go away no matter what shampoo and medication I tried. Along with the dandruff I got greasy hair and had slight hair loss, but nothing too bad. Eventually the dandruff and greasiness went away, but the rate of hair loss got worse.
It’s all ok at the moment because my hair is quite thick, but the amount of hair on the bathroom floor is a bit scary. What could have brought on the sudden hair loss? What I can do about it?

you should really talk to your doctor about your hair loss……….it could be nothing. but at your age you shuold not be losing your hair. Sometimes we shed hair, sometimes we don’t.

Have you seen a doctor? I would direct you to my ex-boyfriend but if he’s doing anything about it it’s not working!
Don’t worry too much about it. Unless you see bald spots then run, don’t walk, to your doctor.
