Is this male pattern baldness?

Written by reader on December 7th, 2008

I am losing hair from the top of my scalp. If it keeps on happening I will have a bald patch there. Is this male pattern baldness?

it is a hereditary thing passed to you from your mom

If your maternal grandfather lost his hair, it probably is male pattern baldness. It’s genetic.

Male pattern baldness is a term to describe hair loss, it starts at the forehead and progress back, it will usually leave hair on the sides of your head, it begins with your hair noticeably thinning, and can rapidly progress to baldness.

I am a hair dresser and you could be losing your hair for any number of reasons. It could be the products you are using, the type of pillow case you have, your diet, or your hairstyle. If you are young, it is probably one of those things. You need to talk to either your hairstylist, dermatologist, or doctor to know for sure. Basically, someone who can see your hair, talk to you, and knows what to look for. Hope this helped!

first of all you have to be a male to have male pattern baldness and with your name you dont sound like a female. you should avoid using whatever product that u r using straight away and also dont take baths with very hot water as it can damage hair. these natural products are doing well in the market. go to the link and good luck.
