Hair extensions for male pattern baldness?

Written by reader on November 25th, 2008

I’m in the early stages of male pattern baldness. It is too early for me to have a transplant and I’m too worried about the risk of side-effects to go on medication for a long period of time. Are hair extensions an option? Is it an option to use extensions where there is no hair? What I really want is longer hair in the front. How much would this cost?

Hair extensions make your existing hair appear longer and are not used to fill in thin areas.
