Researchers are reporting that they’ve linked a gene to a rare condition that makes people develop thin “peach fuzz” hair, potentially paving the way toward greater insight into male-pattern baldness.

The finding won’t immediately lead to a better treatment or cure, said Angela M. Christiano, co-author of the study, published April 15 in the journal Nature . And though it’s “just a tiny little piece of the puzzle,” it could provide perspective about a component of male-pattern baldness known as shrinkage, said Christiano, director of the Center for Human Genetics at Columbia University.

Contrary to popular belief, male-pattern baldness doesn’t cause hair to stop growing. Instead, hair still grows but it’s short and fine, like peach fuzz, Christiano said.

Many people are affected by hair loss, particularly as they get older. While there are numerous hair loss treatments available on the market, it can be difficult to choose one and the results may not be the same as stated on the packaging. If you prefer guaranteed results then it may be worthwhile to consider hair transplant surgery as a solution to your hair loss problem.

Hair loss can occur for a variety of reasons from significant weight loss to hormonal changes. Or it may simply be that baldness may be a genetic trait in your family, which will almost certainly affect you in later (or even early) life. This occurs when the hair follicle is particularly sensitive to testosterone and, over time, the hair thins until it eventually completely disappears. Once the hair has fallen out there are no lotions or pills that will enable it to grow back. Hair transplants are the only permanent solution to restore your crowning glory.

Hair loss has been an ongoing concern for centuries and has resulted in a variety of treatments and alleged miracle cures. In the 1700s men wore long, curly wigs to cover their baldness, which has since made way for other scalp coverings such as toupees and full wigs. While these are temporary solutions that may be ideal for people who are completely bald, if a person has sufficient donor hair then they have the option of having hair transplanted into the balding area. While surgical procedures that included transplanting large clumps of skin and hair follicles, as well as sewing flaps of skin with hair onto the bald patch, have been done in the past. The end result, however, is often unnatural and ultimately an unsuccessful solution.

The transplant procedure is simple enough and is performed under local anaesthetic. Some people who have undergone the procedure say that it is no more painful than a visit to the dentist. Because only very small grafts are transplanted, the end result is discreet and looks completely natural, so only you will know that you have had a transplant. At the start of the procedure the client will be given a mild tranquiliser to help them relax and reduce discomfort. The donor and recipient areas are then injected with a mild anaesthetic, which may cause some discomfort. A small strip of hair-bearing skin is then removed from the donor area, which is then sutured closed. The donor hair is dissected into smaller grafts, which are then inserted into the recipient area.

The donor hair is taken from an area on the scalp where the hair is not predisposed to fall out (usually the sides). In the weeks following the procedure the transplanted hair will fall out. The follicle will be left behind, but in a dormant state and it may take three or four months for the hair to start growing from these follicles again. It can take as long as eight months or even a year to achieve the full results of the hair transplants. Keep in mind that hair loss is a lifelong problem and that additional transplants may be required in later life. However, the transplanted hair will never fall out.

If you are looking for a permanent solution to hair loss and balding do not waste your time and money on hair loss treatments such as pills and lotions. Rather turn to hair transplant surgery and enjoy a full head of your own hair.

hair loss, a very frustrating part of life for some people, is a common occurrence that may have just met its cure. For years, hair loss treatment has been a growing science and popular among balding men, especially, though women are not immune to the effects of the treated condition. Now, it seems, the same hair loss laser treatment procedures that clinics use is available to consumers at a fraction of the cost. With the HairMax Laser Comb, many balding people can take advantage of hair loss science on a smaller scale.

But does it work?

According to certain studies and government organizations, yes, it does. Some ways the Laser Comb makes this happen:

Rechargeable battery ensures HairMax Laser Comb will be ready whenever you need it: Treatment should occur with frequency. Developing a routine for your hair loss treatment program is vital to fuller, thicker, and more abundant hair. Since the Laser Comb comes with its own rechargeable battery and charging cradle, it is available to the user at a moment’s notice.

Laser diode system acts as a miniature version of the hair laser treatment utilized by hair clinics: The laser treatment in hair loss clinics has been adapted for the HairMax Laser Comb. Depending on the version you buy, nine to twelve laser diodes aid the hair in regeneration and growth and stifle the damaging effects of hair loss.

Both the United States and Canadian governments have approved it as a safe product that promotes hair growth: The United States governmental organization, the FDA, has approved the product, as well as Canadian administrative officials, as being a safe product that does exactly what it claims. FDA approval is big for any food or drug product, but obtaining further validation from the Canadian government instills confidence that makes the HairMax Laser Comb a viable global product.

HairMax Laser Comb proves with 90% customer satisfaction that hair loss, hair regeneration, and hair growth, are all effects of product: What do the customers think? According to independent surveys, the HairMax Laser Comb boasts 90% approval among its users. This all but guarantees satisfaction that the product is exactly what consumers suffering from hair loss have been hoping for a number of years.

While specific results cannot be guaranteed, the information looks promising. It has taken a number of years research, trial, and error, for a product to come along with this kind of consistency.

The HairMax Laser Comb is certainly not free, but for the value that it affords consumers suffering from hair loss, it is proving to be worth the asking price. Do your research before making a purchase, and make sure your budget is ready for it. But if hair loss is a big enough deal for you that you would consider the help of a hair loss treatment clinic, then you may wish to make this product your first choice.

If you suffer from male pattern baldness, then it’s time to do something about it. While there are a number of advertisements for hair transplants, it’s not an economical options for many men. One of the best ways to treat hair loss in men is with Propecia. Online pharmacies have this medication available and it is less expensive than you might think.

Propecia is a prescription medication that is used to treat hair loss by increasing hair growth. You can order Propecia online, but you need to get a doctor’s prescription. This medication is also used to treat other medical issues, such as problems with the prostrate. It’s covered under most insurance policies, but for those with no insurance, you’ll find the best option is to order Propecia online. The online pharmacies can provide you with a 30, 90, or 120 day supply at greatly reduced prices. You’ll find that shipping times can vary from a week to eight weeks, so make sure you order your refills accordingly.

There are some side effects to Propecia. Online pharmacies list these side effects. Those pertinent to this medication include a decreased libido, impotence, and a decreased volume of ejaculation. Breast tenderness has also been reported. However, these side effects are not reported very often. If you have any of these side effects, it’s best to contact your physician or your pharmacists. Should you have an allergic reaction to the drug, such as difficulty breathing, swelling of the hands, face, or feet, or hives, you should discontinue use immediately and seek medical attention.

The dosage of Propecia will be set by your physician and you should follow the orders completely. It’s not known to cause nausea or other stomach problems, so it’s not necessary to take it with food. You should however, take it with a full glass of water. When you order Propecia online, the pharmacy will provide this information, as well.

If you take other medications, make sure your doctor is aware of all of them, including herbal supplements. While Propecia is not known to interact badly with other medications, the pharmacy where you order Propecia online will want to make sure. However, it’s important that you list every single mediation you take, just to be on the safe side.

This medication works by preventing the conversion of the hormone testosterone to dihydrotestosterone or DHT. DHT is usually what causes hair loss in men and when the body is not able to convert testosterone to DHT, most men will experience hair growth. It’s not going to happen overnight, but within about 12 weeks, you’ll start to notice the difference.

In closing, if you suffer from male pattern balding, Propecia may be the answer you’ve been looking for. Speak with your physician and if he or she decides this medication is what you need, consider ordering Propecia online. It’s much less expensive than traditional brick and mortar pharmacies and works just as well. Don’t lose your hair when it can be so easily prevented!

For those who suffer from hair loss, the typical insensitive comments can be hurtful, driving balding people to look for a remedy. Some people may try the easy options of merely hiding their baldness, such as wearing a hat or scarf. Other may wish for a more practical solution, and look at hair loss products that could provide a natural cure. It is typical to consider the healthy alternatives before resorting to extreme medication, and it is highly probable during this research that you will discover notice biotin, a natural ingredient used in many hair care and loss products.

It is typical to see biotin being used in practically all natural hair loss products and is often touted as a miracle ingredient for hair and skin rejuvenation. However, buyers often wonder if any of these claims actually hold true and if these “miracle” ingredients can truly achieve the results that the products makers claim. So, let’s examine what it is and how it works.

Biotin is a type of vitamin B that is essential for the formation of glucose and fatty acids. Egg yolks, sardines, brewer’s yeast, mushrooms, legumes, salmon, cauliflower, and bananas are all good natural sources of vitamin B. Apart from this Vitamin B is also naturally produced in the digestive system.

Although few studies have been conducted that prove the effectiveness of biotin in preventing hair loss, acne, brittle nail, eczema etc; there is ample of evidence to prove that a deficiency of Vitamin B does indeed cause the loss of hair.

Your hair is nothing but a protein fiber; however, the protein cells do not have a nucleus, meaning they are not alive. This simply means that protein is essential for hair growth and to prevent the loss of hair. Since you need biotin for protein production, any deficiency may create low levels of protein leading to hair loss.

Biotin is included in most hair care products available on the market today such as shampoos, hair gels, conditioners, and hair creams. Vitamin B is more potent than some of the other natural products available for hair loss because it is easily absorbed by the skin. It helps to strengthen hair, preventing hair loss and promoting hair growth.

Alternatively, if you were to consult a hair care expert, they may even recommend biotin dietary supplements. As these vitamins are essential for good health, their use will not only bolster hair growth but also more firmer skin and skin tone. These vitamin B supplements are water soluble and you need to take about 2-3 mg each day to maintain the required level of biotin in your body.

Before taking biotin supplements, it is important to consult your doctor, in particular regarding the dosage. You can find these supplements easily at most health supply stores and they are available in various dosages; it’s essential to use the appropriate dosage to avoid health risks and get the best results.

Diabetic suffers typically can have low levels of biotin. Also certain types of medications may hamper its production by the body. Naturally occurring deficiencies are however rare. Signs of deficiency include nausea, fatigue, depression, hair loss, anaemia and muscles pains.

If you do suffer from such a condition, supplements may prove more useful in controlling the loss of hair as opposed to merely oral application through hair loss products.

Men in the early stages of male pattern baldness may have new hope for regaining some of the hair they’ve lost. Laser technology has been proven quite effective for some forms of thinning hair, notably male pattern baldness as well as female pattern baldness.

Baldness occurs when hair follicles die. Individual hairs grow for several years at a time before falling out. Once a hair falls out, that hair’s follicle rests for several months before beginning the growth process again. However, in the case of baldness, specifically male pattern baldness, hair loss occurs when those follicles stop growing hair altogether.

Laser technology-namely, laser light therapy-could provide the solution for many men suffering from male pattern baldness. Laser therapy uses soft low light to promote rejuvenation and regeneration of hair at the follicle level. With laser treatments, this low level light carries energy to the scalp. This energy promotes hair regrowth by increasing blood flow and stimulating the cells in your scalp. Laser light is absorbed at the root level. When it reaches the roots and follicles that are damaged, laser light helps to repair them, stimulating hair regrowth.

Laser therapy to regrow hair is available in a variety of places. Your doctor can perform the treatment, or you can select from any number of laser combs available for purchase online. The key to laser light therapy for hair regrowth is repetition. While each individual method of laser therapy will have different requirements, this kind of treatment has only been successful when performed at least twice a week for no less than five weeks. In general, no side effects have been reported from hair treatments involving laser lights, and the process is pain free.

If you are in the early stages of male pattern baldness (and in many cases female pattern baldness) or have patches of thinning hair, you are considered an excellent candidate for this kind of therapy. Laser therapy can be used by anyone experiencing hair loss, but individual results will vary based on the nature of hair loss. Many recipients of laser therapy notice a 25% increase in the volume of their hair after just the first treatment.

If prescriptions, creams and sprays seem too costly for too little payoff, laser hair regrowth therapy might just be the solution you’ve been looking for.

hair loss is something most men secretly ‘fear’ and hope it may never actually occur. For ages, men have made several attempts to reverse the hair loss process and find some cure for baldness.

Cleopatra, for instance, used a mixture of horse teeth, bear grease, burnt mice and deer marrow in her attempt to cure Julius Caesar’s baldness, but it never worked out. Since then, humanity has invented a cure for baldness that actually works.

Hair Loss or signs of baldness (Androgenic alopecia) is a common symptom of the aging process, but what many people disregard is that it can also cause low self-esteem; falling hairs are an obstruction towards an attractive personality. Dealing with hair loss can be highly challenging, leading to intense stress, anxiety and even depression.

Historical facts indicate that hair loss that cannot be stopped or prevented, and this adds to the anxiety of many men worldwide. However, Finasteride or better known as Generic Propecia is the answer to all your doubts or word-of-mouth opinions pertaining to hair loss. Finasteride or Generic Propecia is the premier drug treatment for baldness.

Finasteride is the most trusted medication for hair loss; commonly branded as Generic Propecia it is the tried and tested treatment availed by thousands of customers world-wide.

The primary contributing factor in male pattern baldness is DHT – 5-Dihydrotestosterone. Hair loss research has brought open the role of DHT in male and female pattern baldness and hence preventive measures were targeted to prevent this hormone from acting on receptors present in human scalp.

Generic Propecia works by inhibiting the formation of DHT in the system. Within days of administration, the overall DHT levels are reduced and the adverse effects of DHT on the follicles stop. 1 mg of Finasteride (Propecia) acts as a DHT inhibitor since results show that it blocks approximately 55% of DHT action. As a result, the hair loss process is reversed. Sustained treatment of 1 mg daily is required, in order to maintain reduced DHT levels.

We are leading suppliers of Propecia Online, who specialize in marketing Finasteride and Finasteride only. Make use of this revolutionary cure for hair loss from the comfort of your own home.

FIGHT hair loss WITH SAW PALMETTO EXTRACT

Who knew fighting an enlarged prostate would lead to fuller, healthier hair?

The Native Americans knew it. The Europeans later found out. Now, many Americans are accidentally discovering this surprising hair loss secret after using the dietary supplement URINOZINC.

HOW DOES URINOZINC ENHANCE HAIR GROWTH?

URINOZINC\’s main ingredient is Saw Palmetto Extract. For centuries Native Americans used this indigenous extract to grow hair, fight enlargement of the prostate gland, stop urinary infections and heal genital conditions.

This extract comes from the berries of the 2- to 4- foot tall Saw Palmetto shrub which grows on the Atlantic coast.

The Saw Palmetto Extract contains fatty acids, plant sterols and polysaccharides which are all believed to play a role in the herb\’s ability to enhance hair growth for both men and women.

Specifically, the Saw Palmetto Extract is thought to be effective for a type of hair loss known as androgenic alopecia. This type of male and female pattern baldness affects the crown area and temples.

No significant studies have scientifically supported Saw Palmetto Extract as a cure for baldness, but a few small studies have confirmed positive hair growth in users. The extract is thought to be most effective for mild to moderate hair loss — not severe cases.

WHAT DOES SAW PALMETTO EXTRACT DO TO HORMONES THAT CAUSE HAIR LOSS

The excess conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone, or DHT, is believed to cause baldness. The reason Saw Palmetto Extract is effective is because it blocks the 5-alpha reductase enzyme which allows this conversion.

With the enzyme blocked, DHT is also blocked and cannot bind to androgen receptors. Both enlarged prostates and alopecia are caused by DHT. So it\’s no wonder that URINOZINC users are finding the supplement to be their latest surprising hair loss treatment.

At least 160 mg of Saw Palmetto Extract is needed twice daily to reverse hair loss. In addition to the extract, URINOZINC contains, zinc, pumpkin seed, lycopene, and vitamin E among other nutrients.

IS SAW PALMETTO EXTRACT SAFE?

When taken excessively, there can be side effects with Saw Palmetto Extract. However, when taken as directed there are very few if any side effects, which include bad breath and stomach ache.

WHERE CAN I BUY SAW PALMETTO EXTRACT?

It is important to buy Saw Palmetto Extract from reputable sources. Urinozinc, with its comprehensive blend of super nutrients, sells its supplements at Walmart stores throughout the US and online at www.urinozinc.com

There are many reasons for hair loss but 90% of all cases in men are due to a condition called “androgenetic alopecia.” This is commonly referred to as “male pattern baldness.”

You may loose 80 to 100 strands of hair per day. But this hair is not dead as all the hair that falls gets replaced with new growing hair. The hair goes through a generation, growth and fall cycle which continues again with generation of new hair. You do not become bald because you are loosing more hair, you will become bald when the lost hair is not replaced with new hair.

Developed by Merck pharmaceuticals, Propecia is licensed for use in men only. Women and children should never take this medicine. Male pattern baldness is one of the most common causes of hair loss. In this condition, men lose hair in a well-defined pattern beginning above both temples. Hair loss also occurs in the crown area and in some men, the hairline also recedes. If not treated in time, male pattern hair loss can result in partial or complete baldness.

At the very mention of hair transplant surgery, most people immediately think of unnatural-looking surgery of the past where plugs of hair were inserted into the scalp, making it look, well, polka-dotted and awful. It was a terrible solution primarily because the groupings of 15-25 hairs doctors implanted in the scalp did not mimic what occurs naturally on the scalp. Naturally, hair grows in groupings of 2-4 strands, no more. And there is a direction in which these strands of hair grow that determines how the hair falls once it grows out. One new hair transplant technique takes that into consideration. When surgeons developed new methods using micro-tools, they were finally able to harvest hair follicles in small enough groupings to make what is called follicular hair transplant surgery look natural.

According to the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS), understanding what made our hair fall out turned the tide in follicular hair transplant surgery. Doctors discovered that hair taken from the back of the head tended to be immune to the same process of weakening and falling out that the hair on the top of head was.

Hair transplant surgery remains at the top end financially of hair loss solutions. It is not cheap. But considering the long term necessity of using hair systems that need maintenance, or topical hair therapy medications that can never be stopped once started, or the even more unpleasant prospect of being bald for the rest of ones life, the cost of hair transplant surgery is not so bad. Most patients are able to spread the cost of the surgery into affordable payments. But most importantly, find a surgeon who is an expert in hair transplant surgery with a great reputation to help restore your hair and your confidence.

Stopping hair loss is easier than stopping and reversing the loss of hair. A great deal more hair loss prevention products are around for this and it can turn out to be a good deal more affordable for you at the same time. The obvious way to use these products is by discovering your hair loss before it gets worse. There are several symptoms you can look for that mean you are loosing your hair.

Generally when you’re losing your hair you will notice more hairs inside the sink and on your comb. When searching for a treatment for loss hair, it is important to obtain the best hair loss prevention products or actually hair loss prevention product to prevent the baldness. The following tips will make it easier for you to choose the right solution for you.

Minoxidil is just one of those solutions. It’s tried and tested to inhibit DHT in men, and has been approved by the FDA to help treat hair loss. Men usually demand a higher dose then women. For instance, products for men contain 5% Minoxidil, while products for women contain only 2%.

Tip 1. Make sure the hair loss prevention product includes a guarantee along with it. When the company isnt willing to offer your money back if your not satisfied then they can’t have much faith in their product!

Tip 2. Make certain that the hair loss prevention product has FDA acceptance. If it does not have FDA approval then you can’t be sure that the ingredients inside it are safe.

Tip 3. Be sure that the hair loss prevention product has a good history. Look out for testimonials concerning the hair loss prevention products your considering buying. If it doesn’t have testimonials there could be a reason for that.

Tip 4. Before you buy anything give the company a call or send them an e-mail asking a question about their product. Do you want to deal with a company that does not answer their calls or e-mails?

Tip 5. Does the website for the hair loss prevention product have a listing of the ingredients which are in the product they’re selling? You should know what goes in to the product your considering buying.

Tip 6. The longer the hair loss prevention product continues to be on the market the higher the chances that it’s a product worth spending money on. If it were a useless product it wouldn’t last long in the market place. That’s not saying that new products are not any good!

Dietary supplements may also help. The components to look out for are vitamins such as B6 (which supports a lot of the body’s functions, including hair growth) and Biotin (supports healthy hair, skin, and nails), minerals like Magnesium (which works with calcium to enhance hair growth), Nettle Roots (which has been utilized for centuries as an ingredient in shampoos and hair tonics) and Horsetail Silica (which has been utilized since Greek and Roman times).

Next:

For anyone who is seriously interested in finding a hair loss prevention product as a treatment for loss hair, there are several choices that you could take so be vigilant and have fun in the mean time.

Overview of male pattern baldness

Male pattern baldness is a phrase that is used a lot, but beyond understanding that our father’s or grandfather’s hairlines looked eerily similar to our own at a certain age, most of us have little understanding of the how’s and why’s of male pattern hair loss. It is safe to say that male pattern baldness (Androgenetic Alopecia) has been around as long as men have.

When men lose their hair, they tend to lose it predictable ways, around the hairline and the crown of the head. This pattern of hair loss is referred to as male pattern baldness.

Causes of Male Pattern Hair Loss

Genetics is heavily linked to male pattern baldness. Scientists still don’t know the precise genetic mechanism that triggers male pattern baldness, but there is enough evidence to support the likelihood of genes as the instigators. Studies in 2006 and 2007 have shown that a variant on the X chromosome (the female contribution in a male’s XY combination) contributes to male pattern baldness, leading scientists to conclude that male pattern baldness is passed down mostly through the maternal line. So a glance at your mother’s father should give you a heads up about what’s in your future.

Aging is another factor that combines with genetics to trigger certain hormones, mainly DHT (Dihydrotestosterone) to overproduce. An overabundance of DHT causes hair to miniaturize, or getting thinner, weaker and grayer.

Other issues like stress, diet, lack of sleep, even smoking marijuana can have negative effects on your hair. A 2008 study done in Amsterdam, where marijuana is legal, concluded that its use “frighteningly” accelerated hair loss in men ages 18-45.

Some illnesses such as diabetes, lupus and heart disease can accelerate the natural process of losing one’s hair as well.

The Life Cycle of Hair

To understand the process hair loss, it’s important to understand how hair grows. Like any other cell in our bodies, hair follicles go through cycles. Hair grows (sometimes for up to six years), then stop growing. It rests for a few months as a new hair begins to grow in its place, when the old hair is shed. Finally, the whole cycle begins again. At any given time, we are naturally shedding hair at a rate of 100 hairs per day. We don’t notice this unless we find an extraordinary amount circling the drain or on our pillows. When hair sheds, but fails to grow back, our hair thins. But male pattern baldness can take years to occur. This is because the DHT is slowly strangling your hair follicles at the root, depriving them of the oxygen and nutrients that healthy hair requires. Every time your hair grows back after a resting phase, it is thinner, less vigorous. And eventually, follicle-by-follicle, it stops growing back altogether.

The Norwood Scale

Ultimately, your changing hairline begins to fall into the Norwood Scale of male pattern baldness. On the Norwood scale there are different levels of hair loss, from lesser front hairline loss to severe baldness of the crown at the other end. Doctors and hair replacement specialists use the Norwood scale to evaluate and classify your hair loss. This can be a helpful tool in understanding the eventual progression of your male pattern baldness and to see where you fall in the scale range.

Treatment Options

Hair restoration is a big business industry with shampoos, topical treatments, and pharmaceuticals and over the counter products like Rogaine joining the ranks in the battle against hair loss with modest success. Studies show that products like Minoxidil, and Finasteride (which inhibit the effects of DHT) are somewhat successful in stopping the shedding and show some improvement in 80% of men. The downside of these products is that once you stop using them, your hair will once again fall out. So it’s a lifelong commitment.

On a more natural scale, chemicals like caffeine, Saw Palmetto and Chinese Knotweed have shown some promise in preventing hair loss.

Laser technology is one of the newest concepts in preventing male pattern baldness. The theory is that low light laser therapy increases circulation and blood flow around the follicles, thereby nourishing them. 90% of patients who’ve tried laser hair therapy have seen improvement in the thickness and vitality of their hair. Unfortunately, laser hair therapy must be started early when follicles are still alive. Once gone, they’re gone for good and even laser therapy cannot revive them.

Follicular hair transplants are, perhaps, the ultimate, albeit most expensive, solution to male pattern baldness. Hair is harvested surgically from the back of the head where it is not predisposed to genetic shedding and is grafted in 1-4 hair groupings in the bald areas of the scalp. These new techniques are safer and more natural-looking solutions to hair loss than hair plugs of yesterday and ultimately don’t require the constant maintenance and worry of nonsurgical hair systems.

hair loss is daunting; in the following paragraphs I will cover some hair loss product reviews, and also the reasons why they work and have established themselves in the market place. Hair loss occurs to nearly everyone at some point in there day-to-day lives, I dont care weather you are 40 or 70 and it will affect both males and females of any nationality. Most baldness is hereditary in nature, it’s estimated that 95% is a result of DHT which in turn causes hair loss.

But there’s some other reasons, my son began to lose his hair at the age of 16 years of age. Fortunately We’ve had a handle on his situation so we reviewed his diet that consisted of mostly refined sugars and starches. After changing his diet and some other items, his hair began to grow back in droves. There’s lots of hair loss solutions available in the world today, most of which possess a pretty high rate of success in this post, I will examine the top 5 so its possible to be a better informed consumer if you are searching for a hair loss product review.

#1) Healthy Diet

Having a healthy diet plan is definitely the back bone to keeping your hair, having enough protein is crucial for your health as well as your hair, eat enough foods that contain b complex as this is an essential complex of vitamins your hair needs to grow and remain healthy. Also drink ample water for proper circulation of blood to the scalp; ask your dietician for any healthy high protein diet if you’d like help.

#2) Shampoo, Conditioners and Essential Oil’s

Keep away from cheap store bought shampoos and conditioners, as many of these solutions contain chemicals which will do more damage then good. Also find out which hair type that you have to help you buy the right products for your hair. Consult a health care professional or maybe a hair specialist on this matter, and try not to ask your stylist for advice they probably will refer you to the priciest brand they have on there solon shelf, and this is not what you want. You may also Wash your hair with a mix of apple cider vinegar and sage tea this helps hair grow and cleans down to the hair follicle.

#3) Medications

Propecia and Minoxidil are classified as the only FDA accepted drugs currently available to treat hair loss. And neither of those two drugs is certain to work at ending the issue of hair loss. There are lots of over the counter hair loss medications like Provillus, which has a good history, also Nism Bio Factors is an additional one that works for many people. There are many herbal treatments, which can also be found and work well for some people, so experiment and have fun.

#4) Stress

Stress is another reason why some individuals lose their hair and I thought, I’d mention it here in this posting. Stress coupled with an unhealthy diet could be enough to cause you to start losing your hair. So make sure you get plenty of rest, relaxation and this may even be a great time to begin that Yoga class.

#5) Hair Replacement Surgery

This type of hair thinning solutions has become much more popular in the past couple of years, since it is becoming more mainstream, and the prices are coming down. Nevertheless the price can still be in the thousands of dollars and ensure that you are going to a professional Doctor to have this done

As you can see there are many hair loss remedies and cures there for the general public. I was reading a comment on a forum recently where he stated that hair loss was genetic or hereditary in nature and the only thing that could be done was to live with it. Well I’m living proof and so is my son that this is not the case at all, for some it might be harder then others but there is always hope, just seek information and study and read hair loss product reviews and talk to professionals in the industry you are going to be surprised what type of results it is possible to achieve.

There are many techniques in treating male baldness. Men have been dealing with balding hair since the beginning of time. Some men accept the fact that they are losing their hair, and even shave their head altogether. Some try to hide their balding heads with a wig. Some try to treat the hair they still have in order to keep from losing any more.

If you are going bald there could be many reasons why. Baldness can be hereditary. If your father or grandfather were bald, chances are you will be also. Stress can cause you to lose your hair. This could be either physical or emotional stress.

Aging is a natural factor for hair loss. And you might not believe this, but if you wash your hair too often you could weaken your hair and cause it to fall out. Also, you might want to dry your hair with a towel. If you use the hair dryer too often you can damage and weaken you hair.

There are a lot of treatments for male baldness. You can even take drugs orally to help stave off your hair loss. But realize that these drugs have their own side effects. So discuss with your doctor the side effects you can expect and if they are worth the possibility that they will restore your hair.

If you would rather use a topical instead of an oral medication, you will find many on the market. These topical products also have side effects, but they are not at numerous as oral medications. Most topical products will restore the hair on the back of your head, but will not help your receding hair line however.

Many believe that hair loss is due to an inadequate diet. And they think that if you took diet supplements that include the right amount of vitamins, and minerals, that your hair will be restored. The advantage to using natural supplements is that they will help your overall health and you will not suffer side effects you would have when you use oral medication. But check with your doctor before taking any supplement to find out if it will interfere with any prescription medication you are taking.

hair loss is something that people are usually appalled at. Most of them do not like it whenever they are called bald or baldie. That is why they do everything they can to prevent this hair tragedy from happening to them, including buying top selling hair loss products. However, not all cases are the same. So, there are just some people who cannot escape hair loss. Nonetheless, if you still want to prevent it from happening to you, here are some suggestions.

Research your family history. A lot of hair loss cases are genetic. So if your ancestors lost most of their hair before they even reached 40, chances are you will also lose your hair at the same age. However, you must not lose hope yet. Once you see the early signs, you must go to your dermatologist right away. While you will not be able to change your genetic makeup, you can still reduce the amount of hair falling off your head.

Avoid stressful situations as much as possible. According to researchers, stress is a huge factor for hair fall. Whenever individuals undergo emotional, physical, or mental stress, their hair often falls off. This happens even if they do not have family histories of hair fall and baldness. Anyway, to be able to reduce stress, you can try meditating and exercising. You must also take time to unwind and relax.

Avoid products that contain strong chemicals. Whenever you go out to buy hair products, check out the ingredients. Also, whenever you go to the salon, resist offers for perming, relaxing, or coloring. Your hair may look good at first; but after a while, it will start to fall off. The chemicals in these hair products are very harmful not only to nature but also to your hair. Then again, if your hair is already damaged, deep conditioning and hot oil treatments might help restore its health.

Have a healthy lifestyle. Your overall health is very important. If you want your hair to be healthy, your whole body has to be healthy. So, you must eliminate your bad vices and have a balanced diet.

No man likes to lose his tresses, in particular if he’s still really youthful. In truth hair loss can be quite a shock after it just suddenly creeps up on you. Thankfully though nowadays there are a a small number of tried and tested hair loss treatment for men existing on the market. Below i will provide a short review of 2 of them. Simply bear in mind that before going on any hair loss treatment that you seek advice from your health practitioner first.

1. Procerin – Procerin is a natural ingredient that comes from saw palmetto, a kind of berry. This specific hair loss treatment for men works by blocking the formation of DHT, the testosterone by-product responsible for men losing their tresses. Procerin works on two fronts by slowing down the hair loss procedure and also promoting the growth of additional locks.

Procerin comes in a two part course where you take tablets and as well spread over a foam to the scalp. Mild belly cramps have been noted as a side effect and also a small itching of the scalp is possible. If this occurs simply reduce the frequency of foam use. As Procerin acts by protecting testosterone, this is to be used by males solely! At this time, Procerin is the best selling male hair loss treatment in the world.

2. Ketoconazole – Look out for this ingredient in anti-dandruff shampoos as it’s the main active ingredient in combating dandruff. It was later discovered that ketoconazole can fight baldness but as further checks are still needing to be carried out it not allowed to be marketed as such in the US and Europe. Ketoconazole will shortly as well be obtainable in capsule and foam formats like to Procerin. For the shampoo though, it suggested that you leave the foam on for between 3 – 5 minutes previous to rinsing for the full effects to be given chance to work.

Due to its ease of access plus lack of price, this might quite easily be united with an added hair loss treatment for men in order to attain faster and improved results.

Lastly, it worth pointing out a bit of something about exercise. Although exercise does not precisely effect hair growth, many holistic practitioners and all doctors recommend it. Working out serves to improve blood flow, delivery of oxygen to the cells and aids the digestion of foods. These are all things that help the overall health of hair follicles.

You may find excellent tips as well as many alternatives for your hairloss treatment. The first step is to consider the possible reasons losing hair in order to decide which approaches may work best for you. Several remedies for hair loss can be effective for almost everyone.

Hairloss Remedies

After considering the likely causes for losing hair, you can benefit from considering different treatment options. This starts by exploring hair loss therapies. The approaches fall into two basic categories, natural treatments and products to stop hairloss.

Products to Prevent Hairloss

Several products can help you to avoid losing hair, depending on the source of the problem. The products listed here can benefit you if you experience hairloss problem. Get familiar with them and how they work.

- Growth stimulators can promote hair growth and although they don’t heal the source of the problem, they can give notable results in many cases.
- Anti-inflammatory agents can prevent locks from falling out by preventing the immune system from attacking the hair follicles, that can lead to itching, flaking, irritation and hair loss.
- DHT inhibitors stop hair to thin and fall out by struggling with dihytestoserone (DHT).
- Androgen inhibitors prevent hair to fall out by preventing DHT from attacking the androgens.

Natural Remedies for Hairloss

Almost everybody with hair loss difficulty can profit from natural treatments. Natural way involves: avoiding unhealthy chemical substances in meals, dietary interventions and special haircare techniques. If you were thinking of using homeopathic remedies, first you should talk about this option with a doctor. Homeopatic treatments can be dangerous if you have any worries regarding medical conditions.

How to decide the Right Hairloss Treatment

Picking the right hair loss therapy starts with determining the reason of the problem. If your baldness is due to poor eating habits, taking a DHT inhibitor is absolutely not going to help. To determine the causes of baldness it is excellent to visit a doctor and discuss the issues with him. The right interventions will naturally follow.

Both men and women can experience hair loss, and its often a stressful occurrence. Is your hair really thinning, and if so, how bad is it? There are methods for evaluating and monitoring this issue for either gender.

In the 1950s, Dr. James Hamilton developed the first clinical method of charting the stages of male pattern baldness. In the 1970s, Dr. OTar Norwood (no, Ive never met anyone named OTar) revised and updated Hamiltons chart; the results are called the Hamilton-Norwood Scale or, more often, the Norwood Scale of Male Pattern Baldness.

The Norwood Scale charts a mans current level of hair loss and predicts (make of that what you will) the pattern that could likely occur. Here is an overview of the seven stages:
I.Normal, full head of hair.
II.Classic receding hairline. In a later portion of this stage, the hairline may recede as far back as the ears.
III.The hairline has a clearly defined peninsula, with sides deeply receded. A bald spot roughly the size of a silver dollar begins at the crown of the head.
IV.The middle peninsula at the hairline is lost. The bald spot grows to the size of a muffin cup.
V.The hairline marches steadily towards the bald spot, which has grown to the size of a softball.
VI.At last, the hairline and bald spot meet.
VII.Hair grows no higher than ear levela swath of hair grows from one ear to the other.

Women also have genetic pattern balding, but it follows a different pattern. There are four scales relating to female baldingthe Savin Scale, the Ludwig Scale, the Olsen Scale, and the Ebling-Rook Scale. All four are nearly the same; the Savin Scale is slightly more detailed. Female pattern balding is charted at nine stages.
I-1 and 2: Normal, full head of hair.
I-3: Wider part, less than one inch in width.
I-4: Part widens to roughly between one and two inches in width.
II-1: Part widens to roughly between two and three inches in width.
II-2: The top of the head has a bald patch roughly the size of a softball.
III: The top of the head has bald patch roughly the size of a melon.
Advanced: This stage displays no hair growing on the top of the head.
Frontal: This is a wide part, similar to stage I-4, with the gap extending into the hairline.

If you are male and experiencing hair loss, you might consider seeing a dermatologist; having your condition analyzed and charted by a doctor can help you make decisions about treatments you might like to pursue. Women experiencing hair loss should see a dermatologist or general practitioner right away; womens hair loss can be caused by a wide variety of factors. An underlying health condition may be the root of the problem.

Before hair transplant surgery came along, how did men deal with their hair loss? For centuries, men have been losing their hair to genetics, age and inevitability. For centuries, men have tried to disguise their hair loss with powdered wigs, toupees and, more recently, removable hair systems that adhere to the scalp with special adhesive. Why all the worry about hair loss? Because feeling good is looking good and a healthy head of hair is intertwined, psychologically, to our feeling of well-being.

Why do thousands of men each year choose hair transplant surgery as a way to solve their hair loss? Because we feel better when the person we see in the mirror is the person we still expect to see. When our hair goes, so does a chunk of our self-worth. And while modern technology has made amazing breakthroughs in disguising the problem of hair loss, these solutions are not ever going to be like the real thing; the one important thing you get when you choose hair transplant surgery: your own hair growing back on your head.

To understand hair transplant surgery, you have to understand the answer to the question: Why does hair fall out? In the case of men, genes predetermine which areas will thin and bald eventually. Hormones- particularly DHT (dihydrotestosterone) that can shrink the hair follicles and weaken them until they fall out for good – are a significant cause of hair loss. More accurately, once weakened this way, hair fails to regrow to replace the one that has fallen out in the natural shedding process. Thus if more fall out than regrow, baldness will ensue.

Weve all seen the results of the early and awful attempts at hair transplant surgery with hair plugs, which resulted in a scalp that looked more like the surface of a brush, not at all natural looking. Unscrupulous hair loss clinics even performed dangerous hair transplant surgeries by sewing a hairpiece directly onto mens scalps. Never a good idea. Both of these procedures are now a thing of the past. For good reason men became suspicious of hair transplant surgery at that time.

However, in the past ten to fifteen years, amazing technological breakthroughs have improved the way hair replacement surgery is performed. One type of hair transplant surgery is called Follicular hair transplant surgery, which utilizes micro-surgical techniques and the hair loss patients own hair, harvested from an area at the back of his head. One to two strands of hair at a time are individually implanted into the area of the scalp that requires hair. By the end of the hair transplant surgery, thousands of such individual strands with roots intact are implanted into the scalp of the hair loss patient. Great care is taken to angle the hair properly, to give a natural frontal hairline to the patient and to give what will become good coverage of the scalp.

The hair harvested from this back area of the scalp for follicular hair transplant surgery is not prone to the same genetic problems as the hair in the frontal areas. These harvested hairs are predetermined to keep growing, just as they would at the back of a mans head throughout his life. Once hair transplant surgery is complete, the hair that is visible will shed or fall off. But the root that is still in the scalp will be settling in to grow. Within six months, a new head of hair will grow where no hair was before. Hair transplant surgery is a viable solution to hair loss.

While mens hair transplant surgery is more common, women, too, suffer from hair loss and can benefit from hair transplant surgery. Women tend to lose their hair in an all-over pattern instead of the typical pattern baldness men experience. Often, hair becomes extremely thin, because hair stops growing back once it falls out. Dihydrotestosterone can affect women in this same way as men, but other factors, such as chemical over-treatment, and tension Alopecia due to over-styling are more common in women who suffer from hair loss.

Gina Reyes underwent treatment for breast cancer with radiation and chemotherapy. Her hair fell out, as expected, but unlike others who regrew their hair, Ginas hair never came back as thick as it had been before. Her recovery was difficult, made worse by how she felt when she looked in the mirror. She tried everything to cover her hair loss condition, but finally settled on hair transplant surgery. Her recovery was relatively easy and within a month the hair transplanted into her scalp shed. But then, the roots began to grow and Ginas hair began to look like it used to look. Within a year, she had a new head of hair and her chemo treatments no longer stared at her in the mirror whenever she looked at it. No more will she have to worry about hair systems that adhere to her scalp, or needing to shave what hair she has left to apply it. No more wigs that dont breathe in the heat. The hair from her hair transplant surgery is real, growing hair.

If youre suffering from hair loss and youve tried the other hair loss solutions only to feel like youre wearing someone elses hair, consider going to a hair transplant surgery clinic to see if you are a candidate for hair transplant surgery. The cost is relatively high, but financing is usually available. And when you add up the other hair loss solutions over a lifetime, then add in how youll feel about yourself when its done, you may just find its worth the price of being you again.

This brief report will help you solve the mystery and sincerely come to understand the root cause of male pattern baldness. Truth be told, I can share with you right now that this cause is simply the starvation of your hair follicles. So I guess the million dollar question is why are your follicles starving, and what can be done to reverse the effects right away?

If you are suffering from male pattern baldness, then it is almost guaranteed that your hair is thinning due to a deficiency of magnesium, b-vitamins, zinc, copper, and vitamin A, among other essential “hair nutrients.” The first suspect you should consider as the cause of this nutrient deficiency is an excessive supply of the hormone dht within your bloodstream.

Are you with me so far?

Without question, dht is the real “bad guy” here, adhering to your hair follicles and preventing them from absobing proper nutriment from your scalp’s blood supply. Dht is literally starving your hair follicles to death if you are, in fact, experiencing male pattern baldness.

What Else Contributes to the Demise of Your Hair Follicles?

It seems that a lot of supposed hair loss “experts” like to only focus on dht as the root cause of male pattern baldness, but it does go far beyond simply blocking this hormone. There are two additional factors which are equally important. These are nutrient deficiency and poor circulation. We will place our focus on ALL THREE of these, as this will give you the most complete chance of getting your hair loss under control as quickly and thoroughly as possible.

Quick note… not all male pattern baldness is treatable via non-surgical means. It is possible that your condition has gone untreated for too long, and is now past the point of no return. This is true if you have patches of scalp with absolutely zero hair cover. In other words, my friend, you’re totally bald! If this describes you, then you may want to look into hair transplants.

Most men will benefit greatly from the 3-step process that follows!

Cause of Male Pattern Baldness #1 – DHT:

There are two common things men do to combat the over-production of dht in the bloodstream. The most popular is to take finasteride (Propecia), and the next most popular is to take saw palmetto. Saw palmetto is a natural alternative to finasteride, and is preferred by a great number of gentlemen who choose not to run the risks of sexual side effects posed by finasteride. Both options have a fantastic reputation of effectively blocking dht, and finasteride is actually FDA Approved!

Cause of Male Pattern Baldness #2 – Vitamin & Mineral Deficiency:

We’re not in the clear yet. Blocking dht frees the follicles up to receive proper nutrition from the blood. Now we have to make sure that the nutrition they are so desperate for are actually available within the blood to begin with. The nutrients you really want to focus on include biotin, vitamins A and E, follic acid, magnesium, and copper, among others. Antioxidants and essential fatty acids are also a must. Though healthy foods are the preferred sources for these nutrients, the most sure-fire approach is to take all-natural daily supplements.

Cause of Male Pattern Baldness #3 – Improper Blood Flow:

This is the step that completes the trifecta. You’ve “unclogged” your hair follicles so they can receive nutrient-rich blood. You’ve taken your vitamins to ensure that your blood is, in fact, nutrient-rich. But how far will all this get you if the blood never even reaches your hair follicles? This is where minoxidil (Rogaine) comes into play. It works as a vessel dilator, restoring proper circulation to the scalp. Simply applying a 5% solution of this FDA Approved topical to your scalp each morning will help to ensure that you didn’t follow the previous two steps in vain!

hair loss is something that affects millions of Americans. It is a problem that many find to be embarrassing and want to find a solution to. No one likes to lose their hair, but it is a reality most have to face.

There are solutions that can help end male hair loss, and this article will list 3 solutions.

35 million men in the United States suffer from losing their hair. A majority of these men are looking for a way to get their thick head of hair back in a few months. The solutions listed below will help with your hair growth, and when combined together it is guaranteed!

1. DHT, a hormone that is manufactured in the bloodstream through excess testosterone, is the leading cause of male baldness. The first solution is to block DHT. Because it is a hormone that clings to your hair follicles and kills them DHT is a problem.

It starts out by just thinning out your hair, but eventually all your hair follicles will disappear. To stop the source of thinning hair and complete loss of hair you need to block DHT. This is the most important solution to stopping it.

2. Something that many people underestimate is the power of a healthy and responsible diet. Having a proper diet can change your energy levels, mood, skin, weight, and of course hair. In order to help deal with loss of hair you need to be drinking half your body weight in ounces of water each day.

Also, you should eliminate unhealthy foods and eat 70% of your diet in vegetables and fruits. This will help you eliminate hair loss and begin fixing the problem all together.

3. Finally, you need to look into topical solution that can help. One of the best on the market is Minoxidil. It is an FDA approved topical solution that opens the capillaries on your scalp. It also restores the flow of nutrient-rich blood to your hair follicles.

This will not actually stop the cause, but it will help your hair grow. In order to stop the cause of hair loss you need to combine a topical solution like Minoxidil with a DHT blocker.

losing hair is something that affects millions of people in the US and many of them are embarrassed by it. You can stop losing hair and start growing hair. Follow the 3 solutions to end male hair loss listed in this article and you can be on your way to having hair in no time!
