Age when Male Pattern Baldness begins?
Written by reader on December 7th, 2008My hair loss started when I was around 19-20. Is it was normal to happen at such an early age? Is there a certain age when pattern baldness starts or is it different age for everybody?

It’s different for everyone; the age when it starts is often similar to the age when male relatives started to go bald.
I know two brothers, one starting balding around the age of 18 and had to begin shaving his head because it was too obvious when he was about 21. The other is 24ish now and is just receding.
So it’s different for everyone.
